Plant Based Heaven at Farmacy
We have a confession. We've eaten at a lot of vegan and plant based restaurants and have to be completely honest with you a lot of our favourite dining spots are in the US. The demand, quality and innovation in the States seems to be on another level. However we have faith that the UK is catching up! Our faith was restored this weekend when we visited London's Farmacy; a plant based vegan and vegetarian restaurant in Notting Hill.
After taking a peek online at their Brunch menu, we made a bee-line for the tube from our hotel and headed straight to Farmacy. Stepping foot inside Farmacy transports you to LA or Greenwich Village in New York. The restaurant is filled with green plants and the central juice and cocktail bar is classy and looks like it's straight out of a West Elm ad! We loved the botanical vibes!
Choosing what to order was pretty difficult! With chickpea pancakes filled with butternut squash, house pancakes, rawnola, numerous lattes and teas to choose from we both settled for the chocolate chip warrior waffles, infused with Sunwarrior protein powder, Adaptogenic lattes and beautifying farmacuetical syringe shots.
You know you're at a great place when you can't take your eyes off every plate that comes out of the kitchen! Our brunch was served up super fast and we were blown away by the detail and beauty of the waffles. There was no way you'd be able to tell that the waffles were gluten free, vegan AND refined sugar free. The latte tasted sweet and creamy and we loved the playfulness of the way the syringe shots were delivered.
We were so impressed by the attention to detail and love that was infused into every meal. We cannot wait to go back and try every dish, apparently the burger and pancakes are their best sellers!
